GoPi (“we”, “us”, “the app”) is a Pi Network bounty board at https://gopi.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use GoPi.
1. Information we collect
- Pi identity: when you sign in with Pi Network, we receive your Pi user id (UID) and username after our server validates your access token with Pi’s API.
- Bounty & escrow data: titles, descriptions, locations you choose to share, rewards, proofs, applications, messages, ratings, and payment identifiers needed to lock or release escrow.
- Device / session: basic technical data such as browser type and app session state stored locally (for example signed-in session on your device).
2. How we use information
- Authenticate you via Pi Network and keep your session.
- Operate bounties, applications, inbox, and escrow flows.
- Process Pi payments (user-to-app locks and app-to-user payouts) through Pi Platform APIs.
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
3. Pi Network & third parties
Sign-in and payments are handled with Pi Network services. Payment and identity processing also depend on Pi’s systems and policies. We use hosting and database providers (for example Vercel and Supabase) to run the app. Those providers process data only as needed to deliver GoPi.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not ask for your Pi wallet seed or private keys in the GoPi UI. Never share seeds with anyone claiming to be GoPi support.
5. Data retention
We keep bounty, escrow, and account-linked records while needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or platform requirements. You may request deletion of your GoPi-associated content where feasible; some payment records may need to be retained for auditability on Pi Network.
6. Security
We use HTTPS and server-side secrets for Pi API keys. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use GoPi only through official channels (Pi Browser / your verified app URL).
7. Children
GoPi is intended for users who are allowed to use Pi Network services. If you believe a minor’s data was submitted, contact us to remove it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of GoPi after updates means you accept the revised policy.
9. Contact
Questions about privacy: contact the GoPi operator via the app listing on Pi Network / the developer account that publishes GoPi, or through support channels listed on gopi.app.
